1.
A silent killer corrodes through my veins; nameless, faceless, undetectable. I am the victim of natural slaughter. Convulsions of the mind are lined in blood. A toxic manifestation of nature, in it's true form; it's venomous releases invisible. The face of deceit. Life is withheld. Cause of pain: unknown. Unseen affliction...
2.
Druglord 05:19
Take in the seeds of despair. A harvest of the mind awaits. Dead, twitching, impotent-- it's all part of the cycle. Intravenous; blissful... Arrive and see utopia; euphoria. Drug induced perfection. Within the womb of organic dreams is the pattern; the ring; the cycles of carbon. This is the cost of keeping life. Illicit drugs of gods injected into the arms of devastation; an addict becomes subservient. Transient manic symptoms-- a shake, a seize... an insect under your skin-- free the druglord.
3.
Metastasis 05:07
Behold! A dissolution of flesh, the fate of those condemned by life. Metastatic convolutions are the gateway to christen the end. Incisions begin; peel back the skin. Malignant movement of flesh. Aqueous, vitreous evisceration spreads; I am sold, I am void to their movement. Moving through the net; infecting the source. To look once more upon the vessel; the network of life-- the infectious strains of corruption are boundless. The curse of epidemic is ever present in life. The end of all life begins now. The formless reveals itself and erases it's trace from the past; no riddles unanswered, no need to fear... Moving through the net; infecting the source. This life, has run it's course.
4.
Denial 02:16
[instrumental]
5.
This is all that's left. This is what remains. The failed benediction-- life is never reclaimed. The final stages arrive; uncontrolled and divine. These cycles of rebirth; what frees must bind. To exist in faith is to dissolve into nothingness. Potentiality again dismantled by biblical architecture; red lies born of a demagogue. We've lost perception of what is real. Truth evades those who won't seek the answers hidden in our world.
6.
Sentience has vanished into dust; terminus dawns upon the altar of endless dreams, as the skies turn into gray... Potentiality again dismantled by biblical architecture; red lies born of a demagogue. A life ends, at the hands of it's creator.
7.
8.
From inside the depths arises a new face of evil; a continuously self-replicating disease. Unstoppable onslaughts of cancerous enigma are feeding on sanity. Defective human remains, discarded by nature. All hope lost for survival; stare into fate's cold, dead eyes, in tunneled vision. Light is at the ends, but I sense darkness closing in. Can disorder be overcome? Only chemicals will tell.

about

"Metastasis", basically a re-release of 2007's "Remnants", tells the story of an individual diagnosed with cancer. Songs are about the medicine involved, actual metastasis, and the mental/emotional relationship that humans have with death. Whether the individual picks up the pieces, or simply can't find the energy to move on, is open to interpretation. Unofficial release in 2009.
